Winchester. The name could bring fear to many wizards. Nobody knew why John Winchester was so hell-bent on bringing as many of them down as he could, but he did a damned good job at it. And he raised his two boys in the profession as well. teaching them the ins and outs of how to hunt them down.
It wasn’t until Sam got the acceptance letter on his eleventh birthday that things changed. John was devastated, Dean was jealous, though he didn’t let it show. And when John gave Sam the ultimatum of family or Hogwarts, Dean gladly took Sam’s side, along with the Impala.
Though muggles aren’t traditionally allowed to be at the castle, administration had made an exception for the Winchester boys. Dean’s inwardly jealous that he isn’t the one waving a wand around, but seeing his brother’s smile makes up for everything.
